Secret Garden Bookstore

The Secret Garden Bookstore is an ongoing year-round fundraising endeavor that is open and available to the public during library hours and is managed by the Eccles-Lesher Friends of the Library group.

Located on the second floor of the library (apologies, there is no elevator access to the second floor), many of the books are donated by community members and we also add books that we remove from the library’s collection in order to make room for newer additions.

It’s a great way to help support the Friends group and the library, as well as grab some great deals on quality reading materials.  There’s a little something for everyone:  Children’s books, non-fiction, bestselling fiction, paperbacks of all types, and more.  Check it out any time the library is open!

$1/bag every day!

*If you are thinking of donating books and materials to The Secret Garden Bookstore, we thank you for thinking of us as a place to send your gently used items to provide them with a new home. We would be glad to take them, however, below is a list of items that we no longer take or cannot accept:

– VHS tapes or cassette tapes
– Encyclopedia sets or reference sets
– Reader’s Digest condensed books
– Musty, moldy, dirty, or water-damaged items
– Dated information (anything older than 2018) such as travel guides, etc.
– Textbooks older than 2015
